This past Saturday saw the much-anticipated release two special edition MINI’s; the MINI 50 Camden and the MINI 50 Mayfair. I gratefully accepted a kind invitation to pop along to my local MINI dealer, Wood MINI, to see them both unveiled.

The Camden is a crisp white symphony of contemporary design. It comes packed with every technological driver aid you can fit on a MINI and will appeal to anyone who admires the crisp and clean modernity of the iPod. Meanwhile, the Mayfair is an affectionate tribute to design trends of the past mixing dark metallic paint, brown leather and polished chrome with some subtler modern styling.  I found it hard to choose which I preferred, although if you held a gun to my head I would probably choose the Mayfair.
