John Cooper F1 Special Edition
News has reached us (as it has several other sites) that MINI will be releasing a further special edition car this year in edition to the Camden and the Mayfair. This MINI will be a very small run of highly-tuned JCW cars released to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the Cooper Car Company winning the F1 constructor’s championship in 1959. It will be called the John Cooper F1 Special Edition.

Those estimable people at MotoringFile have even broken out the Photoshop and knocked up this spectacular representation of how we believe the car will look. As you can see, this MINI has gone ‘old school’ with it’s exclusive non-metallic British Racing Green paint and contrasting Pepper White roof and mirrors. This will be a very limited edition of perhaps 100 cars and could well be unveiled at MINI United.
