So, what do you think?

I have started the re-design, as you can probably tell! We now have specific departments showing the latest post from each. Featured posts can show a specific post until I decide we need a new one and the sidebar is completely custom.

I am using a theme called Mimbo, created by Darren Hoyt.

I have a few bits left to do though. The contact form isn’t working, I want to change “About Collin” to “About Us” with sub pages for each author, I need to get a picture of me uploaded and I need to get some decent graphics for the “Features”. If you look at the Live Demo you’ll see that the features has images as well as text, where mine just has text. These images use Custom Fields in the “write” screen and I want to see if I can create one for each of the main categories we will be writing in.

Any ideas or suggestions for further improvements are much appreciated!
