The Peril Of Mini Subframes

Daze has an awesome little article on removing the rear subframe from his Mini.
He says he’ll be writing a “part 2″ when he fits the new one too. Expect that in a couple of months if Daze’s posting habits are anything to go by. ;)

ICE - The Build - Part 1 - Front Speakers

In my last ICE post I mentioned the Elemental Designs subwoofers and the Infinity Reference 6012i speakers.
Well, look what arrived in the post a few days ago!

You Know You Own A Mini When…

…when people start the conversation with “Hows the mini?”…..

Panel Replacement - Genuine Scuttle

Following my When To Use Genuine Panels post on Friday, we were given a genuine scuttle to replace the damaged crap unit with.
The genuine panel was more than twice the price of the pattern panel but the extra cost is justified by the quality of the fit of the panel. Scott fettled and […]

New ICE Collection Begins

I currently have a Pioneer head unit, four standard Rover speakers (two in pods, two on the rear shelf, all running off the head unit), A JVC 10″ subwoofer in a random box on the back seat and a Rallye Caliber amplifier dumped in the boot.
This setup, although sounding OK, is far from ideal. […]
