Surfing around the Mini and MINI shopping sites it seems that the variety of products available to customise your MINI is increasing with wild abandon.

All the usual suspects are offering parts for the MINI, including Mini Speed and Mini Sport. Before this morning I had never bothered looking at the MINI side of the companies. Why? Sadly, I don’t have a MINI. Yes, I would love one and when I can afford it I will have a MINI Cooper S with a stonking tuning kit. Roland at GT Tuning offers a kit to convert the standard 160bhp Cooper S into a 300 bhp supercharged monster. I can only imagine what a car with this conversion feels like to drive!

Sexy Wheels!Browsing the Lohen New MINI Specialist website, spending imaginary coinage on parts I will probably never be able to afford I found a set of wheels that I just fell in love with. Made by OZ Racing the wheels are called “Ultraleggera” the wheels are available in silver or graphite (left) and measure 17″x7″.

They aren’t cheap at £205 each, wheel only, but damn are they sexy! For £1090 (in VAT) of your hard earned you can get four of these beasts with Toyo Proxes T-1R tyres ready to go. See the wheel’s entry on Lohen’s website for more details.

I will write some more on Tuning packages and options for the MINI, but I am a little swamped with trying to figure out R53, R56 and all the different models at the moment.

I also think I need to score me a drive/ride in a MINI before I go too much further. Any offers… ?
